So much fun to make your own biscotti. The chocolate chips in the microwave didn't melt very smooth for dipping. Next time I'd definately do double boiler to melt down. Very tasty!

I had avoided making biscotti for years because it looked hard to do. Boy, was I wrong! These cookies looked SO good when she made them on TV that I had to give them a try and I'm glad that I did. The cornmeal makes them slightly sweeter than most biscotti and positively delightful dipped in coffee. Mmmm...

I prefer the biscotti with extra citrus zest.

I followed the recipe exactly, and after the second baking, they came out hard as a rock. From reading, other reviews, it sounds like this only happened to a few others. Strange.

Although biscotti is not a cookie and should be more dense the second bake them made them overly hard. I would definitely cut the baking time down on the second bake. The flavor was excellent.

The biscotti was good but I found the recipe and time harder than it was worth.

These tasted oh' so yummy. for the holiday season I make tons of cookies, one per day, and freeze them then pack then on a special day to deliver. These didn't freeze so well already dipped in chocolate. I would freeze first then dip just before delivery or not freeze at all.

I've tried other biscotti recipes but they never turned out very well. Either the flavor or the texture was a little off. These got great reviews from everyone.

This recipe inspired me to try several different recipes for the holidays. I always wanted to make biscotti and at the Christmas dinner all my relatives asked for this recipe.
