    Fabulous! The nutella gives this an incredible, smooth, rich chocolate flavor with the subtle taste of hazelnuts. I was worried people that did not like a "nut" flavor in their chocolate might not care for it but it was a big hit. Better than the recipes for ice cream and gelato without the eggs.

    This is the best gelato/ice cream recipe. My husband, who is an extreme ice-cream fan and gobbles it down like he's in a food eating competition, actually eats this slow to savor the amazing flavor. Perfect as is, but we also added some slivered almonds for a little texture.

    This was my first ice cream that I made with my Cuisinart ice cream maker and I have to say YUMM! This gelato was AMAZING! So smooth and creamy and very delicious! Unfortunately for my hips, I discovered this recipe and now I'm going to want to make it all the time. I agree with some other reviewers and would say to cut down the sugar a bit because it was a little too sweet. Other than that- perfection. The best ice cream I have had in a while.

    Excellent recipe. Though my Nutella just made it taste like chocolate (really good chocolate gelato. But the base recipe is great, you can turn this into any type of gelato you like by adding fruit and/or flavorings.

    This recipe was so delicious. I couldn't stop eating it! Unfortunately, I didn't have any nutella. So, I used a caramelized hazelnut chocolate bar from Sulpice Chocolat www.sulpicechocolat.com instead. It turned out so amazing! It was smooth and delicious and the chocolate flavor really came through. The recipe isn't too sweet-just creamy and wonderful.
