I made this recipe and I loved it but it was a little too sweet. Since I loved the presentation, I made it again but used a package of dried mission figs and pecans instead of the hazelnuts and chocolate chips. Really good.

I have made this recipe twice now and have brought it into work for my co-workers. They loved it both times! Particularly my boss who LOVES chocolate. I followed this recipe exactly and I agree with one of the comments below that the BEST way to enjoy this recipe is by using hazelnuts. The hazelnuts help to mellow out the bittersweet chocolate and seem to blend so well together. I could not find the hazenuts at a regular grocery store, but was able to find them at a Whole Foods and through the Internet. And they do not cost anymore than pecans or walnuts. I would not substitute anything - I enjoy the intensity of the chocolate with the hazelnuts!

Very good, very rich! I would make it again, although I wouldn't say that it's my favorite chocolate recipe. The hazelnut crust is to DIE for! I prefer it eaten just out of the fridge or else the sugary bottom is just too mushy.

This Tart is delicious, but incredibly sweet. I have been trying to play with the amount of corn syrup in order to cut down on the sweetness.

This recipe was easy and delicious. However, the next time I make it, I will try adding some coconut to it. This will make an excellent Christmas cookie.

This was extremely easy to make. I made it when I invited my family over for dinner and dessert. It was also very rich, decadent and plain old yummy. However, I did make a few changes. I used 1/2 a cup of corn syrup instead of one cup. Also, I used semi-sweet chocolate instead of the bitterseet and finally, I used a little less than 1/2 a cup of sugar instead of 1/2 a cup. I also cut the pie into 8 slices. Next time, I will cut them into squares for smaller servings.

The tart didn't come out looking at all like what I expected. I took it out of the oven after 40 mins, and the top was already overbrowned and hard. However, the filling tasted good. I liked the combination of bittersweet chocolate and hazelnuts.
