Let me preface this by saying that my wedding cake is chocolate, raspberry and white chocolate, so I absolutely adore the combination but....I feel like the raspberry jam was not a good fit. It just didn't go well for some reason. It was too gummy and too tart, instead of sweet, smooth and fruity. Maybe some Chambord swirled throughout would be better? I shaved white chocolate with a vegetable peeler and it looked beautiful, all the little white curls on top. I love chocolate and raspberry together, but this just didn't do it for me.

I made these quite some times ago after watching this episode. They were so delicious! I wouldn't change a single thing. They were the moistest brownies I have ever had! My husband doesn't really eat sweets, and he couldn't stop eating them! Best of all, they were ridiculously easy to make for the gourmet look and taste you end up with!

As I did, didn't realize it's not the same as melting regular choc. If it seizes on you in the double boiler, add a tsp (give or take of vegetable oil and stir it as it's over simmering water. I guess too high of heat makes it seize. Otherwise, very easy recipe and yummy! Added them to my xmas gift treats.

I made these a couple of months ago and my husband thought they were amazing. I tried to also make them with orange marmalade instead ot the raspberry jam and they didn't turn out as good. I've had many request for this recipe. Giada well done!!

I love anything that has to do with brownies, so I was immediately attracted to this recipe. I like that she adds raspberry jam, making the brownie tangy almost and more moist. The only thing is, after the brownies cooked in the oven, I found that a lot of the jam migrated to the center of the pan. That of course made the outer part not tangy enough and the inner part too tangy. But all in all it was good. I also let it cool for a long time so when I poured the white chocolate, it melted quickly and I cut the brownie into pieces before the white chocolate could get too crusty and break apart easily. I recommend making this at least once!

I saw the episode and read reviews...who could go wrong. They we're a hit with all the guests but my I agree they we're better the next day. And, based on reviews I added more white chocolate...I wouldn't do that again. It took away from richness. The "salted" nuts are a must. I would make it again cause it was so easy

I made these the other day and my husband almost ate the whole pan. They were so good and I could definitely see making other versions such as the orange marmalade or even cherry jam. I am making them for a picnic with friends later this week!

I just made these and I LOVE them! The white chocolate on top of them is awesome! I love the combo of raspberry and chocolate. I love orange and chocolate, so next time I make these I'm going to try orange marmalade instead. Also, I used chopped walnuts instead of almonds. Another great recipe from Giada!
