This was absolutely AMAZING!!! I'm baffled why people rate 1 star because they have issues with finding a pan or because there was a temporary website error where the receipe wasn't complete! But about the pie - so easy to make and absolutely delicious. One thing to watch is really make sure it is fully set. We couldn't wait and cut in a little early and while delicious, it was a little soft. A couple hours in the fridge later and I was getting myself a midnight snack! Definately will make again!

Delicious! Except, I had a little leftover filling, so I just baked it in a small ramekin without a crust, and actually ended up liking it that way much better than in the big pie with the crust. I think they would be great as little mini pies. They almost taste like a mousse.

3 1/2 stars, really. Looooved the chocolate filling, incredible. Super rich and luxurious... However, I was NOT fond of the crust. The cornmeal (which I usually love in stuff really weirded me out, I guess the texture/bally-crunch... Hazlenuts, were also a pain and not my favorite, in terms of taste. I had to de-skin the nuts myself, and that added a good amount of extra time to the recipe. The density of the crust was perfect.. held together, but not too tough... I think I'm going to try walnuts and no cornmeal on the next pie??

The tallest 11" tart pan with a removable bottom that I can find measures 1 1/4" high. Hard to press the crust 2" up the side of the pan. Where does such a pan exist? This recipe listing has been a mess. One version had hazelnuts, another had pine nuts. 1/2 cup or 3/4 cup of nuts depending on the recipe version. One had the crust but no filling. It's hard enough to cook at home without baffling recipes.

My goodness. This is the most awesome chocolate pie ever! So rich, it is divine. I changed the ingredients a little to accommodate what I could find. I included almond and walnuts with the pine nuts in the crust. I also added powder sugar at the end instead of nuts to the top of the pie. Everyone loved it. It was the hit of the party, aside from the turkey.

Foodnetwork, I am trying to find the rest of this recipe but I can only find the crust. Is it possible to post the recipe again with crust and filling ingredients and instructions for putting it together.

Here's the recipe but instead of the pine nuts substitute with hazlenuts.
