    For some reason me and cookies just don't get along but these came out fabulous so I think anyone can make these. :-

    These cookies are SO good!! I just made the cookies (without the icing in between and they were SO moist and SO good...I think this is my favorite cookie recipe from Giada



    I used the bittersweet chocolate chunks and they were great!!



    This is definitely going to be my go-to double chocolate chip recipe from now on.

    All I can say is WOW! I followed the recipe to the tee. With frosting, I divided it in two so my son and I could have two different colors. Of course, I used orange and neon green with it being Halloween tomorrow.

    I just pulled the last batch out of the oven and I'm waiting the 20 minutes for it to cool so I can frost. I've made a few of her Italian dishes that didn't come out right. But this looked just like it did on TV. I will make these all the time now.

    Yammy, like all Giada's recipes! A little bit too sweet for me, though. I did not add the regular sugar in the cookies' batter and I only used a cup of powdered sugar in the filling. They turned out GREAT!
