It was absolutely fantastic, everyone loved it. I have to agree that the recipe was a bit confusing, but the end result was just MMMM...Delicious. I used Grand Marnier instead of Marsala. DELICIOUS!!!

Delicious! I thought it was a little more boozy than I would prefer and it took longer prep than stated, but the results were very good!

I made this dessert for my family's Christmas Eve dinner, as we were doing an Italian theme. I had always wanted to try to make tiramisu, as my hubby loves it, but I was afraid it wouldn't turn out right. I am happy to say that it turned out absolutely fabulous and got rave reviews from all. My husband gave me the greatest compliment, when he said it was "better than the Tiramisu at Maggiano's" (his favorite. I froze it and then let it thaw a few minutes before serving, which I would higly recommend. I don't think it would have set as well in the refrigerator. I used amaretto in mine, which tasted wonderful. Will definitely make this one again!

TERRIBLE! I'M SURPRISED @ GIADA. I ALSO AGREE WITH ANOTHER, THAT THIS WAS A POORLY WRITTEN RECIPE. NO WAY YOU CAN FOLD INTO MASCARPONE WITHOUT WHIPPING IT UP FIRST, WHICH SHE DID NOT MENTION. THE ZABAGLIONE CAME OUT OK, BUT TOOK MUCH LONGER THAN MENTIONED ALSO. BUT THE WORST, WAS THE LADY FINGERS WHICH RUINED THE WHOLE THING. MAYBE BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE THE BRAND SHE MENTIONED, BUT THEY WERE WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY TOOOOOOO SOAKED ENDING UP LIKE A WET SPONGE! THE PRESENTATION WORKED BUT I'VE NEVER HAD TIRAMISU LIKE THIS. IF I DO TRY IT AGAIN, I WOULD JUST PUT SOME ESPRESSO IN THE FILLING & LEAVE THE LADY FINGERS DRY.

I have tried too many tiramisu recipes to count, and this one turned out -by far- the best. I'm generally a fan of the more traditional zabaglione, but I loved the decadence of the chocolate... And so did my fiance and the friends we had over for dinner. The recipe took some work, but the steps were pretty easy, and it was SO worth the time.

    Definitely will make this again.

This dessert was a little more work than others, but it turned out great and it was worth it. Everyone loved it! I followed the directions exactly, except you do need 32 lady fingers (8 more for the top. I will definitely make it again!
