Great recipe - as usual.
By the way - the strawberries are for the chocolate zabaglione if being served alone - not as part of the tiramisu.

I made this at my job for a weekend special. but I was kind of dissapointed it didn't really remind me of a tiramisu at all. it tasted more like a chocolate cake. next time I will increase the espresso content

This dessert gets rave reviews every time I make it. It's one of my favorites.
My only comments:
Make sure the melted chocolate isn't too hot when you fold it into the egg mixture. Otherwise, you'll end up with chocolate scrambled eggs!
2 1/2 cups of espresso didn't seem to be enough. For convenience, I used 3 cups of strong coffee, with a splash of rum added for good measure! After making the recipe a couple of times, I decided that one or two seconds was all the soakingtime needed; if the soaked cookie feels it could fall apart in your hand, then you've soaked it too long. Just drop it in, turn it over, and take it out.

This was a very great recipe. I just love tiramisu, one of my favorite desserts. Because I didn't have Marsla on hand I used Bailey's Irish Cream, and it tasted so so flavorfull. My husband and my friends loved it. Very easy to make. I would recommend it to everyone.

This tiramisu is fantastic. I added Kahula to my espresso for some added kick. It's easy to make if you make the zabaglione in the morning then follow the rest of the steps. Such an elegant dessert.

This is a delicious and elegant dessert which is very impressive to guests. It may be prepared at several phases so that the prep time is shorter.

Great recipe! Prep time was a bit longer than 30 min. for me. Yes, you do need 32 lady fingers instead of the 24! Absolutely delicious, though!
P.S. The strawberries are not for the tiramisu; they are for the zabaglione (if you are making it to eat just by itself, although they make a nice garnish! Please give this a try ~ you'l WOW all of your friends! :-
