This recipe was a big hit at our Thanksgiving table and tasted even better with leftovers. This is probably the best stuffing I've had. My favorite were the chestnuts which were soft, sweet and nutty.
The only reason I could not give this 5 stars was the cost and difficulty finding the ingredients (chestnuts and pancetta. This stuffing cost more than my $25 turkey and I had to go to 3 separate stores to find the ingredients.

this is the best stuffing i've ever tried. my "not that into stuffing" mom and relatives could not stop digging into this one... i used chestnuts that came canned in honey, you can find them in asian grocery stores...i also used thick sliced bacon instead of pancetta...WOW!

We had this for our Thanksgiving dinner. My family and I loved it.
I did add only one jar of chestnuts and that was plenty. We will be having it at our Thanksgiving dinners from now on. The flavors were wonderful.

One of the best stuffing recipes I have found. The whole family loved it and that includes family members who would never eat stuffing!

I had planned on another stuffing recipe for thanksgiving this year, but when I watched Giada make this I new I had to try it! This was recipe was fantastic!! It was moist, flavorful and all the ingredients married beautifully. All my guests raved and ranted saying this was the best stuffing they had ever had. I'll definitely make this again.

A new stuffing for us - dish was beautiful with colors of veggies, browned pancetta. Some liked the meat, others not. There was plenty and I liked it enough to have the leftovers for breakfast. Expensive but worth it

The only reason I will not give it 5 stars is because of the $$$$ you have to shell out for ingredients (and these are just the "main" ingredients:
Ciabatta bread $3.50
Whole chestnuts $10.00
Pancetta $10.99/lb
Holy mackeral! It is, however, a delicious stuffing and one that I will use every thanksgiving but be warned about the sticker shock you will get at the grocery store!
