I can't wait to try this recipe, we are both fudge lovers. I have tried just about all the recipes you have had on line. I have made a notebook with plastic covers and am wondering why, no more pictures ? It really helps when you haven.t made something for awhile and are browsing thru the book. Keep those recipes coming, we are enjoying every one, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took a plate of this fudge to a Super Bowl party and as the hostess was taking it to the table, she snuck a piece and instantly said she needed to have this recipe. Two other women asked for the recipe as well and needless to say, the whole plate was gone within the hour. I knew this fudge would be good after seeing the five-star rating, but I didn't realize a fudge made this quickly with just a handful of ingredients would be so wonderful. I made the recipe exactly as Giada recommended. I was very impressed with the creamy, smooth texture. Women at the party said it reminded them of fine chocolate from Belgium. The kosher salt I feel is a must and gives that hint of salt taste which helps bring out the delicious, but not too sweetness flavor of the cinnamon chocolate. Giada, you're the best!

I've been a fudge addict for as long as I can remember (I'm 52 and have paid up to $15 per 1/2 lb. for good fudge if the mood so strikes me. I've DVR'ed and watched every single episode Giada's ever made and love her recipes. When I saw this Fudge episode about a week ago, I heard her say, "It's soooo easy," and I said, "sure it is." I've never made fudge, and didn't want to for fear I'd mess it up and never look at fudge the same way ever again. After reading all the reviews this past Wednesday, I decided I would trust Giada and my fellow viewers and be brave, so I bought the ingredients on Thursday (for a whopping total of $7, the ultra-low price I've ever paid for 1/2 lb of fudge. I finally got the courage today and made the fudge (Sunday. I decided to put a little twist on it since I was going to be brave anyway, and made Rocky Road Fudge. I slightly altered the recipe and only put in 1 tsp of cinnamon but 2 tsps of vanilla. When the mixture was melted and smooth, I took it off the double-boiler, and added in 1-1/2 cups each of chopped pecans and mini-marshmallows. I then spread it into the dish and refrigerated it for 2 hrs, as directed. I did omit the salt because i didn't think the flavors would be good together. Let me just say: It is UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS!!! I will never buy fudge again at any price. This was half the price and twice as good. Thank you Giada, I will never ever doubt you again. YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

This was easy and came out wonderfully smooth. I used semi-sweet chocolate and it was delicious! I haven't had the best luck with fudge in the past, so I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was. I'm wondering now how I can alter it to make other varieties!

I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of adding only 1 tsp. of cinnamon and used 2 1/2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips. It turned out wonderful - the flavors of sweet, salty, and smokey from the cinnamon balance each other pefectly!

Made this tonight to have for the Super Bowl tomorrow. I have never made fudge before, but this will definitely not be my last time! It was incredibly easy, tasted wonderful, and pretty fast. I was unsure about the salt on top, but did it anyways, and I am sooo glad I did!! I actually wish I wouldn't have been so timid with the salt, it really makes the other ingredients pop! I also just sprayed the dish with cooking spray then put the parchment paper down, and it popped right out at the end, so easy! Thanks Giada!! I can't wait to try this with chopped nuts and other variations!

I made this fudge today and can't stop eating it! I love the salt on it. The sweet and salty are a perfet match in this recipe. The fudge isn't overly sweet though, which I love. It seems like most of the time other fudge is so sweet it makes your teeth hurt. I followed the recipe exactly and it was extremely easy. The buttered dish and parchment paper is a must do. (I didn't have any parchment paper so I used waxed paper instead. Now, if you'll excuse me I'm going to go get another piece of fudge...
