Love this recipe for the ease, and taste. I've made it dozens of times and keep getting requests for more!
Its a great starter recipe for rocky road fudge and it makes terrific truffles!

Thanks Giada for this great recipe! I made it for my wedding favors. I made mini 3-tiered cakes using the fudge cut into 3 different sizes stacked. Bought clear boxes, label and ribbon....and there you have my wedding favors for my wedding. I received so many compliments and how everybody loved the fudge!

Easy and makes amazinggg fudge! i only used 1 teaspoon of cinnamon since i didnt want it to overpower the chocolate taste..i used semisweet chocolate but i think it wouldve worked better with bittersweet (in my opinion since semisweet is kind of too sugary and bittersweet would bring out a more chocolate taste, the salt brings the whole recipe together!

this makes great fudge and it is so easy. i can't wait to try some of the other versions people have written about. one that i did was omit the cinnamon and salt, and then made stripes in the fudge w/a straw and filled it in with warm peanut butter piped through a plastic pastry bag - it was quite a hit! for that i used semi-sweets

This fudge is super-easy and super-wonderful! I would never have thought of putting salt on top, but it really brings out the cinnamon and sweet chocolate flavors. I may never make my mom's fudge recipe again! (Please don't tell her I said that...

This was the easiest fudge I ever made. Smooth, not gritty. It has to be the BEST I ever tasted...and adding the sea salt to the top, OMG. Amazing! I can't stop eating it. It definitely helps satisfy your "chocolate fix". I tried a variation with 1 teaspoon of grounded instant coffee and used 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and the chocolate taste really "popped".

Yummy! This has to be the best fudge I have ever made. It wasn't gritty like most of the fudge recipes I have tried. Instead it was smooth, creamy and chocolaty! The salt on top seemed a little bit strange but it really was a great addition. It was super quick and easy to make.

Super easy. Delicious. I used the Ghiardelli. I did not use the salt on top, but did use salted butter. My addition was 1/4t of cayenne. I made it for a party, Superbowl, and Valentine's Day. People just rave about it-especially men !
