made exactly as written except for using Scharfenberger 62% chocolate, far superior to Gihardelli, but felt that the cinnamon overwhelmed the chocolate and I like cinnamon as well as chocolate with salt. However, it was outstanding when I made it a second time, omiting the cinnamon and salt and adding 1 tsp chili powder. WOW!!! Suble and enhances the chocolate flavor rather than overwheling it as I felt the cinnamon did. As another food network star would say, "How easy is that."

Finally, a smooth & creamy fudge recipe! This was very simple and delicious. My arms got a good workout stirring, so I guess that means I can eat it all myself! The only thing I would suggest is to wipe the bottom of the glass bowl before pouring the fudge into the prepared pan...you would think that would be a no brainer, but alas, some water dripped onto the fudge. A quick dab in the corners with a paper towel solved the problem. Yummy!

This is a foolproof, easy recipe. I thought two teaspoons of cinnamon would be a little overpowering, but I was wrong. The cinnamon added a subtle warmth. I sprinkled just a little salt on mine, as Giada did. The only change I would make is to use just a bit more salt. Great winter recipe! But one small square is treat enough. Using the semisweet chocolate makes it quite rich.

This was easy, fast, and a great crowd-pleaser at my husband's office Christmas party. Cinnamon makes a great addition to the fudge and the palate.

Scrumpdillyishus! And easy as 1-2-3. The cinnamon flavor is noticeable, but people who don't know what's in it are sometimes hard-pressed to say what the "mystery' spice is. For the person who said it didn't set -- try it again. You must've got the measurements wrong, because it's foolproof.

Fantastic and so easy to make. Made a double batch this year and sent it out in my Holiday care packages. The only thing I learned (and it was my mistake is to go easy on the salt. Even easier than you think.....

    Thanks Giada!

Made this for my family, and they loved it. The cinnamon flavor seemed to mellow out the day after I made it, but it's still delicious. Everyone liked the sprinkle of sea salt on top, too. I've never made fudge before, and was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to make. Will definitely make it again!

This fudge is so easy to make. The cinnamon flavor is quite strong, so liking cinnamon is important, but it's nice because it makes it a little different from ordinary chocolate fudge. I definitely recommend using the kosher salt on top. It pairs nicely with the sweetness and richness of the fudge.

Absolutely delicious! Although it does take longer than 2 hours to set, but worth the wait.
