Easy and very good. My wife isn't a dark chocolate fan, but this was quite acceptable to her. The kosher salt sprinkles added a worthwhile contrast. 1" squares are the right size for these little gems.

This is one of my favorite fudge recipe's that I have found, very dark- with a savory kick! There's nothing like it!

very easy to make, and very good. i'm thinking of all the variations you could do on this theme: orange, coffee, raspberry, etc...you're really only limited by your imagination!

Amazing recipe! Will definitely make it again.
I have noticed a pattern...people who give very low ratings oftentimes have not even tried the recipe. What gives??

I made these for Thanksgiving and they got rave reviews. When you make them the smell alone is heaven! I am making more tomorrow because so many people have requested them. I think the butter is a nice touch.

Just made this to test out before the holidays (never made fudge before, its so EASY & DELICIOUS! My husband & I love dark chocolate so I used Ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate (60% cacao & cut the cinnamon down to 1.5 ts (2 ts made me a little nervous based on previous reviews. I love salty/sweet flavor combos so the kosher salt just set this off and made it even better! I cut the fudge into bite size pieces, placed in individual paper lined foil candy cups, and plan on serving atop a nice platter.
Next time I will use 2 ts of cinnamon because 1.5 was a nice touch but I want to taste it a little more, & I think it complements the dark chocolate very well. This is a keeper!

In typical Giada fashion, this recipe was so easy to make and absolutely delicious! I have never in my life made fudge of any kind before this, and last night it took me all of maybe 10 minutes total to prep and make this. The combination of the salt, bittersweet chocolate and cinnamon together is decadent and just amazing. You should really try the bittersweet chocolate without substitutions - it works really well with the cinnamon and vanilla. I think semi-sweet is way too sweet for this gourmet fudge, but just my opinion. Either way, thanks Giada for another fantastic recipe!

The chocolate flavor was great but I didn't like the cinnamon. I should have taken the suggestion of using only 1 tsp...I think that would have helped. I am making it again tonight without the cinnamon or the salt on top (daughter didn't like it and with a little peanut butter melted in...we'll see how that goes.
