I did not like this with the chocolate filling at all. And trust me I am a chocolate lover! I've always made this with the cream cheese filling and thought it might be even better with the chocolate filling. Not for me. One thing to be careful with when making the cake is not to over whip the eggs. I did and it made the cake very dense in not a good way! I'll be sticking to my traditional pumpkin roll with cream cheese filling.

This is amazing! Everyone loved it.It can be a bit tricky to roll and unroll but it worked even when there was a small crack in the cake when it was wrapped in plastic wrap, it didn't affect it though. Instead of placing the cake directly on the kitchen towel I placed it on parchment paper that was placed on the kitchen towel for support. I put powdered sugar on the parchment and rolled the cake up with the parchment papery touching the cake and not the kitchen towel directly.
P.S. This tasted much much better the next day as it became more moist in the plastwrap in the fridge.

Not everything is better with chocolate and this is one of them. But what do I know. I'm not a chocolate lover nor am I a chef.

This was great. Super tasty, and surprisingly not that hard to do if you follow the directions. It was my first rolled cake, and it turned out awesome. Making this again soon for sure.

Just finished eating a piece of this. OMG!!! This one is a keeper. I did have to bake longer than called for and I'm eating the left over filling. It's soooo good!!!

I just finished making this recipe and it came out AMAZING!!!! it was so delicious. Only thing is i did crack a bit and it took longer to cook. The chocolate filling was the best part. It was gone before I knew it! Definitely a keeper

I made this for a party and everyone loved it! I will be making it many times this year for special events. The day after the first roll was gone, my boyfriend asked when I was going to make another one. It is easy and delicious!

The chocolate filling in the cake made this a 4 otherwise it would have been a 3. I added whipping cream to the melted chocolate chips instead of butter and used a little chocolate liquor along with the marscapone. The filling was fabulous and with the extra I spread on top. YUM. I cooked the cake for 12 min. and didn't have a problem unrolling it but you do have to be very careful. I even noticed that Giada's kinda cracked a little when she unrolled it.
