These were okay. They looked a lot better on TV. I didn't care for the dipping sauce, it tasted like sour honey which did not appeal to me but then again, I'm not very big on the flavor of honey to begin with. The bottoms of my cinnamon twists burned pretty badly and the insides didn't seem fully cooked but I used wax paper instead of parchment paper so that may have had something to do with it. I will try again one more time using parchment paper only because the puff pastry I bought came with two sheets. If they burn again, forget it. I'll also leave out the dipping sauce next time and just make plain icing instead.

I made these to take to a party and right out of the oven they were great. However, by the time I go to the party they already tasted stale. These have to be served hot out of the oven or they aren't very good. The dipping sauce was a little sweet for me so I served it with the choice of 2 sauces, this one an a cinnamon roll icing sauce with a little extra milk added.

I thought this recipe was pretty good, however, I am not sure that I will go out of my way to make it again. It was a nice treat but makes way too much dipping sauce.

I have talked about, raved and past this recipe onto many of my friends. Its easy and SO OUT OF THE NORM.....whether for breakfast or a sweet appetizer - you will not go wrong on this one. By the cardamon - its a must. I think great dipping or leaving sauce out w/small spoon for folks to put on as much as they want. The sauce definitely puts it over the top. Finally a recipe that is truly innovative. Thanks Giada - you've given me many winning recipes.

Easy and tasty. It is clear everyone has an opinion about the dipping sauce, so it is a preference. But I really enjoyed how the flavors really complemented each other. I'm ashamed to say I ate them all by myself :-

These were good. They didn't have to cook as long as suggested. The dipping sauce was very lemony so you have to like lemon flavor to enjoy the intensity.

I just made these for my husband and I with a cup of coffee, we both loved the twists,I didn't use the cardamon or the sesame, just made it with brown sugar and Cinnamon and it turned out delicious , but I wasn't crazy about the sauce, however my husband loved it, he is a big fan of lemon tasting foods. I will definitely do this again, it's so easy to make!! I always love Giada's recipes.
