I made these last night since my father was over for dinner and we both loved them! I followed the recipe exactly, except I omitted the lemon juice. I was going to add the lemon juice until I taste tested the glaze before and it was so delicious that I didn't want to change it...plus I am not a fan of lemon flavored desserts. The glaze was very thick since honey was the only "wet" item, so it was easier to drizzle it over the twists and eat. I did have to keep them in the oven longer than suggested (about 18 min total as the inside didn't cook after just 14 minutes. I will definitely make these again. It was really easy and so tasty. Thanks Giada!

I am beyond addicted to these!! Super easy and just perfection!! I love the flavors and didn't alter a single thing in the recipe! Some in the oven right now and I can't WAIT !!! The only thing I would suggest is to make double the amount b/c they'll go fast!!!

The first batch I made was labor intensive. I nearly lost my sanctification. By the time I got to the last/4th sheet of puff pastry, I brushed both sides with the egg wash, cut 10 strips, folded each strip in half end to end, rolled them in the sugar/spice mixture THEN twisted them and baked them as suggested. Because I served them at a baby shower, it made more sense to drizzle them with the glaze rather than provide a dipping sauce. I also use half the amount of lemon juice than was called for. They were delicious and I had many people ask for the recipe. I will make these again!

I made these for a girls' night at my place. Everyone loved them. They turned out exactly how Giada made it on tv. I used the same dipping sauce (just a little less lemon, and I thought it was super. I did drizzle white icing onto the twists after they came out of the oven just to add a little more sweetness!

I made these last night. I used pepperidge farm pastry sheets to do so, and when all said and done, they weren't great. They were very dry and didn't send you back for another bite. I melted a few tablespoons of butter on top and that made them taste better. I didn't make the dipping sauce with it. I wouldn't make these again.

Although the twists look great and taste good, the dipping sauce was nasty. It is a shame I spent so much on cardamon and probably won't use again. The sauce was so strong and overpowering that I tossed it out and made my own. My family and co-workers thought that the twist were good on there own, but when I made a simple icing for dipping, they thought they were great. Too bad, I liked the idea of something different, but if your family and friends won't eat it, what's the point.

OMG! Giada's Cinnamon Twists are one of the very best things I have ever eaten in my life. I'm unemployed and can't afford to spend $15 on a jar of cardamon, so I just left that ingredient out, and I don't know what cardamon tastes like, but WOW-WOWSEE - these things are FANTABULOSA!!!! Extremely quick & easy to make and they taste so fluffy, flaky and delicious. I've made them twice in 2 days. Giada recommends baking for 12-14 minutes, however, I needed to bake them for 15 minutes just to get the inside dough completely cooked. I also made Giada's wonton wrapped banana-chocolate triangles, and they are 5 stars too. GIADA, YOU ARE THE VERY BEST COOK, EVER-- I also love watching you on the Next Food Network Star. Hope you returned next year. You are just the most adorable thing. Thank you. Nancy

everything was easy about this recipe. just make sure to thaw your puff pastry in advance and to flour your prep area. the sauce was good, but extremely sweet. maybe icing would work too. it had a nice lemon tang to it.

These were so easy to make and when you take them out of the oven they look like you were making them all morning long! I think I would like to try to make an icing more comparable to the icing on Pillsbury Cinnmon Rolls, but that's probably just because that's what I'm used to having with my cinnamon rolls.
