This recipe was just ok. I made another recipe for citrus rice salad and it called for way too much onion. I thought this one would be better, but still too much onion for my taste and my husband. He didn't care for it at all. I would not make this again.

I LOVE this recipe. The first time I made it was about 3 years ago and since then it has become a summer staple. My family loves it and every time I bring it to a picnic or party it gets great reviews. Thanks Giada!

Lovely recipe Giada! Didn't have green onions on hand the second time around so subbed with grated carrots, dare I say it was even better!!! Hubby & 2 yr old loved it, so this is a go-to recipe for me now :

Loved it! Used short grain brown rice and had to cook a bit longer, but flavor is amazing. It's good hot or cold, but prefer it warm. Recipe makes a lot; there's just the two of us, so we enjoyed it as a side dish with two lunches and three dinners. Favorite part is the crunch from the almonds.

This is a family favorite! It's smoky but also zesty. I've made it a lot. It adds a nice punch to the table. You can make it way ahead and it only brings out more flavor. I usually serve it with a roasted lemon garlic chicken, grilled pork chops or baked orange roughy with lemon.

I served this salad with sauteed shrimp. This is probably the most disappointing food network recipe I've made. I guess to each their own. It wasn't awful, I would just not make it again. I usually don't cook anything "citrus", but went out on a limb. I guess we are just not a citrusy family....

Sorry Giada but I didn't really care for it; hubby thought it was good so I changed to 3 stars from 1!.. I'm a pretty good cook and although I was careful not to get any of the pith from the fruit this dish had a somwhat bitter taste with too much green onion!.. Served with the Trinidadian Chicken Stew as in the same episode.. I think I'll make plain basmati rice with it next time! Total different flavors that didn't go well... :( Loved the stew btw!..
