I must be missing something! I enjoyed preparing this recipe...even though it takes a long time! I love the combination of the bechamel sauce and tomato sauce and will keep that part of the recipe to use again in other recipes. The final dish was a beautiful presentation, but too bland. I like spicy foods. I agree, use a larger, wider dish. Less spinach and less ricotta. Needs more meat. Needs more flavor! I suggest alternating all of the layers instead of putting all into one layer as instructed.
Giada, I love watching your show. Thanks for sharing your recipes and tips.

This is the best lasagna! The bechamel sauce really adds to the dish. I've had good luck with each one of Giada's recipes! Thanks for making me look like a star to my family!

This lasanga is fabulous. The creamy richness of the bechemel sauce is definately what makes this dish so delicious. Organize yourself ahead of time and it goes together very easily.
My family loved it.

I made this lasagna ahead and served it while on a beach trip. It was delicious-and everyone loved it! I used fresh spinach instead of frozen, but the bechamel sauce really makes a difference. Definitely worth the time!

I love lasagna but don't care for spinach, so i substituted the spinach for sausage. This recipe takes a little time but you can take shortcut. I thought it was well worth it and love how the tomato sauce goes into the bechamel. A hit with my husband.

My family loved this recipe! It was very time consuming as is all lasagna. I used no cook noodles to make it easier and would recommend that you make the simple tomato sauce the day before. The simple tomato sauce was worth the effort to make it! I can't wait to use my fresh tomatos from the garden in this recipe. I froze the rest of the tomato sauce for future use, which will save time next time I make this recipe!

I changed a few things..adding italian sausage with the ground beef including garlic and onions. This recipe was not bland by any means. My guests were absolutely blown away. I still receive compliments from this time consuming but well worth it recipe.
