This is a great tasting lasagna...the Bachamel sauce is wonderful...I did cut back on the spinach - when I layered the lasagna I mixed everything up to give it a more even taste.

Being Italian, I look forward to trying all the variations. I'll let you know the outcome.

I agree with many others - this is one bland lasagna. If you're going to use the spinach it needs to be seasoned with salt and pepper. I also almost never use plain ground beef in anything - no taste. Some good Italian sausage would be better or at least spice up the ground beef with onions, garlic, peppers maybe.

I'v been looking for the right recipe with bechamel. I found it, my husband is very picky what he eats. He just know what taste delicious. This lasagna made with bechamel was perfect. It's a keeper in our recipe book. We don't need to go to an Italian Restaurant to eat great lasagna.

I love this recipe and my family and friends loved it as well. It took some time to make but, was well worth it. I added the butter to the sauce and it really helped with the acidity and made the simple tomato sauce really good. I will make this recipe a gain and give it to my friends and family

This was a great lasagna recipe. It took me a while to make but was worth every minute spent. I had some problems keeping the tomato sauce from bubbling and spilling, but will probably use an extremely large pot the next time to give it more space to do its thing. Thanks for the treat.

The texture and spirit of this recipe made my lasagna come alive with flavor. I had been long making the same dull recipe and this recipe has opened my eyes to a much more pleasant lasagna experience.

As a general rule, we never order lasagna from restaurants. It is always a disappointment. This recipe is so similar to mine. I had never tried it with ricotta and spinach before and we all loved it.
