I made this lasagna twice now and I loved it both times. It is an involved recipe even though I used canned tomato sauce. My husband enjoyed the left overs and even my father loved it.

I was very disappointed in the lack of taste after all the work I put in. It took a few hours to make and it came out looking great, but didn't leave me coming back for seconds. This one just didn't work for me.

By far, the richest, heaviest lasagna I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The bechamel sauce was amazing and added such a gorgeous colour to the whole dish in addition to the spinach and ricotta. Also, instead of just using ground chuck, I used 1/2 chuck and 1/2 beef sausage. Unbelievable flavour with the two meats together. Hats off to Giada!!!

I love the bechamel sauce. I skipped the ricotta & egg filling but it was still good and probably one of the best lasagna's that I've ever tasted. And it's very simple to make, even tho. it's a medium difficulty rating.
