Great recipe. I have also tried it with ground chicken, works very well.

This was so great. I only made the meatballs and used a good jarred sauce. My husband ate more then he usually does when it comes to pasta.

I was so excited to make these, but as a result I was disappointed. I don't know why but they came out bland and flavorless unlike other people's reviews. I even used organic meat and mostly organic ingredients in the recipe. I realize that's prob why the sauce calls for some chicken stock to add a bit more flavor. They are lean and so much healthier than regular meatballs though.

This recipe is great! I will make it again. I think I used a smaller scoop, so it made 60 meatballs which worked out great for me. Makes the recipe go farther. Also, I did not include the fennel in the sauce because I don't like fennel and it was still very tasty. I will make this again! Thanks for the great idea Giada.

This is my second attempt at meatballs. My first try (different recipe fell apart and were dry. These are full of flavor and moist. Looking forward to putting them on the Pizza Bianca with Kale and Meatballs later this week! (I made the meatballs in advance on Sunday

I baked half the meatballs as directed, and shallow-fried the other half in a little olive oil. Both were great. I had to use sweet Italian turkey sausage as I couldn't find any spicy - loved the way they came out!

The meatballs were great. I just used the turkey meat from Sams. The sauce was unbelievable and so easy. I didn't have canned chopped tomatoes, I used tomato sauce and it was fine. Used just dried basil. Everyone loved it though

I made the meatballs for the pizza so I have not made the sauce yet. I used Jenny-o spicy turkey links and just removed the meat from the casting and ground round. These meatballs were incredible. Moist and full of flavor and tender. The size and cook time were perfect so they did not over cook. This will be great for lasagna meat.

Awesome and so easy to make. I bought spaghetti sauce since I was pressed for time and it still tasted terrific. Highly recommend!

AWESOME. My hubbie devoured it. Said it was deelish and wanted to know if I saved it in my recipe box. I used white meat turkey breast. Sauce is fab. Thank you!
