    I tried this receipe and found it was very easy to mix, etc. However, the center of the donuts weren't done. I'm not sure if the oil was too hot and they browned too fast or the size was too large.

    Any comments on this?

    Love these little things.. But I kept trying to taste them and would end up eating them as I popped them out of the glaze. I just hope there be some left in the morning for when the family wakes up.

    Okay...I bake a lot, but was always afraid to try to master doughnuts, AND frying always makes me nervous....until now. This dough was so simple to make and it was so simple to cook these. I couldn't believe it!! And for those of you that don't like coffee glazes, Giada has a recipe for strawberry glaze to put on cupcakes, that works perfectly. It's a lot thinner and more of a sauce then a glaze, but it's sooo good!! Let's just say that the doughnuts were made last night....and finished last night. haha. =

    My sweet tooth was finally satisfied after eating seven of these delicious doughnuts. Hated to stop but wouldn't be able to eat supper otherwise. Betty, Kansas
