We thought it was excellent. Light and not bland at all unless you love HOT Mexican spices and if you do, then you won't like this recipe. Delicious and so easy to prepare.

You might want to hold the salt until after the clams have opened and released their juices. Taste the sauce and then add salt if needed.

To people who think this was too bland: be sure to use the full amount of parsley (and make sure it's the flat leaf kind. I don't know why, but the parsley just makes this dish. For a more full flavor, substitute 2 tbs of spicy Italian sausage (minced for the red pepper flakes. The sausage works best with just clams, no mussels, in the dish.

This is a great recipe! So few ingredients, so much flavor. My husband and I are eating light and trying to drop a few lbs, I was doubtful that this recipe would be satisfying, but it proved me wrong. Lots of flavor, light, and easy to prepare. This is my new go to recipe when I'm short on time, but want to impress!

I have made many seafood pasta dishes and this one was just not special in any way. Not a keeper. It was easy to make however.

My boyfriend and I tried this recipe and it was very good and light. Please keep in mind, if you buy fresh parsley, a little goes a long way. I also would add less red pepper flakes, because that too goes a long way and my mouth was on fire. I hope you will enjoy the recipe like I did.

I LOVE this recipe and my family does as well. Instead of using clams and mussels, I use peeled and deveined shrimp. The outcome is still the same - DELICIOUS!!

I also love that it is a meal in and of itself - it contains a protein, starch, and veggie all in one. It's the perfect one pot meal!
