Even my 85 year-old mother, who is very hard to please, loved this salad. I loved the versatility of it. I added some chopped green onions & fresh grated garlic (because you need garlic in everything! The store bought cornbread was a little sweet for my tasted and I will use day old crusty bread the next time but that didn't detract from at all.

I served this dish with a traditional thanksgiving meal because i don't like stuffing. The fresh flavors and the tanginess of the lemon was almost like a palette cleanser, it gave the whole meal a lightness in contrast to the heaviness of the traditional meal.

Quite good! I used day old french bread, in place of the cornbread as my spouse doesn't like cornbread.
The salad was quick, easy, and delicious. And was quite a nice compliment to the turkey ravioli.

I tried switching out the lemon for fresh pomegranate seeds, about 3 tablespoons...Wow! This is our new favorite

I thought this salad was great. It's a perfect main course for two when you want to eat light. Maybe the night before Thanksgiving! The only thing I would change is that I will make my own cornbread next time. I used store bought and I thought it was a bit too sweet. I'd cut back a little bit on the basil, it was pretty strong. Delicious recipe!

This salad is great! I even forgot the basil so I added some onion and it was still wonderful. Giada is the best.
