This is incredible! I used 6 oz crab meat and one yellow pepper and one red.
To the mayonnaise I added a pinch of sugar, extra cayenne, 2 pinches of celery seed, a pinch of garlic powder, a few grinds of pepper, 1 tsp of Old Bay, and two pinches of Lawrey's Seasoning Salt, and the egg. I didn't want the filling to be bland. It soooo wasn't. To the crab meat I added the scallions and also some cut up celery, then I combined the mayonnaise with the crab mixture. I added no extra salt because I knew the prosciutto, Lawry's and Old Bay all had salt in them. I also substituted plain Panko bread crumbs for the cereal. Oh, wow. This was so good. I can't wait to make it again.
I think I may add some seafood gravy over the top of them next time also. I will take some shrimp stock and heat it up in a sauce pan, then add a cornstarch slurry to thicken it.
Even though I used half the amount of peppers and half the amount of crab, I still used the full two tablespoons of mayonnaise.

This is a good spin on stuffed peppers. I used almond meal instead of corn flakes, and added another egg. The sweetness of the peppers went great with the crab and prosciutto. Very good recipe!

My husband and I both loved it and it's so easy to make. I now have a super supper dish to make for my friends and family. Thanks so much Giada!

After reading the reviews I added garlic and parmesan cheese to the mixture. I forgot the egg so not sure I will ever use the egg because my husband and I loved it. Will add to my regular rotation.

Followed the recipe fairly closely, except I used 2 large bell peppers (red and orange and added another egg (to make it more moist. I found this recipe to be very good and will make it again. Prep time was a bit longer as I used a whole fresh dungeness crab (since we live in the pacific NW which I had to shell before starting. This is probably why it wasn't at all bland. Using the cayenne gave it a little extra flavor and was not hot at all as long as you only use 1/4 teaspoon. I was rather worried about this recipe since I had been nibbling on the crab as I shelled it. I thought that if this got ruined I would not be very happy, but it turned out great.

I thought they were too salty, probably could cut the prosciutto in half. Also I agree with other reviewer, they were rather dry. Probably would not make again.

These were good, but not as good as I expected them to be. I went easy on the cayenne pepper since my kids were eating them. I think that the crab mixture needed a little more flavor, perhaps some lemon juice or garlic. The cook time could be closer to 50 minutes if you'd like your peppers to be more tender.
