although this needed to be made well in advance, it couldn't have been easier and was fantastic! i dropped the vodka to make it more "family friendly" and used pomegranate juice instead, and can't wait to experiment with other juices. (mmm.... watermelon granitas!

What a combination! It was delicious! I forgot it was in the freezer, therefore it froze solid...however, I let it thaw for a few minutes and then broke it up! No harm done! Easy, delicious, perfect for summer!

The recipe calls for cranberry juic coctail, but on her show, she says to use straight cranberry juice. There is quite a difference - which is it?

Used this as a palate cleanser for a seven course Italian dinner party. Was elegant in presentation and so refreshing in taste. Easy but time consuming to prepare. Would definately make again especially as a summer dessert.
