So very disappoinetd-perhaps it's the Asiago Cheese but the smell as noted by previous reviewers is very unpleasant and in my opinion matches the taste! While my husband enjoyed this somewhat more that I did, I can honestly say I would Never make this again, the calories and taste are not worth the splurge. If I were Giada, I would remove this one--it does not reflect the quality I expect of her recipes.

best fettuccine and so easy! i'd bought a wedge of asiago and used the food processor to grate it...maybe it was that i didn't grate it more finely but when it came out of the oven most of the cheese had clumped together and wasn't too easy to mix in and the sauce was on the watery side. the taste was great but minus the clumps! when i made it again i actually put all the sauce ingredients into a sauce pot over low heat and melted everything together while the pasta cooked and didn't even bother putting it in the oven! definitely made a huge difference, sauce was creamy and mmmm mmmm good! great for dinner but even better as leftovers the next day after sauce settled over night.

This was one of the first recipes of Giada's I made and I have to say one of my favorites. I have thrown Italian dinner parties and this Fettuccini is one of the best ever. I also like to marinate boneless skinlesss chicken in some Italian seasoning and cut it into strips to add to the top. Thanks Giada

Delicious! I found it a little more salty than I prefer (perhaps the asiago had enough saltiness to it?, so next time I'll leave out the 1/2 tsp salt. I couldn't find creme fraiche at the store, so I combined equal parts sour cream and whipping cream. I didn't have fettuccine noodles, but I had elbow macaroni. Looking forward to the leftovers...what little there will be!

Oh my goodness! This was the best baked pasta dish we have ever had! The creme fraiche gives it the creamy texture, and the asiago cheese gives it the perfect "bite". It was super easy to make, too. We used this as a side dish, so it could easily be 6-8 large side servings. I have never made a dish from Giada that wasn't good ~ this was excellent!

I saw this recipe on TV and just had to try it! I'm making it tonight for my family(I'm opnly 14, love to cook!. The only problem i had was finding creme fraiche, which i could not find. So i made a substitute using sour creme and heavy creme. Its thickening right now as i type. From most of these comments, i see its going to work out well! Can't wait to try it! But does anybody have any kind of side dishes i can make with this dish?

I wanted to love this recipe, but did not. Buying all of the ingredients is very expensive, about $15 just for the cheese in this recipe! It came out very greasy and the cheese became sort of separated during the baking process. I would not make this again!

This is great. I had several requests for the recipe and my printed copy "disappeared" when the crowd left. Nice, creamy and very easy to make. I did use penne pasta instead of fettuccine, simply because i served this at a casual party and penne pasta is easier to eat (no cutting. Sure to please and impress with this dish.

I was going to try this, but can't believe with 3 c. cheese and 2.c creme fraiche
it is only 4 servings. That is quite rich! Anyone's experience here?
    Thanks
