Absolutely fabulous! Easy and delicious. Can't have enough of it. Giada is simply the best!

Definitely not bland! I started with half a red onion chopped and 1 clove minced garlic and sauteed in butter olive oil mix. Added the chopped asparagus and cooked for 5 minutes. Added the farfalle, Marscapone, Parmesan, and 3/4C. pasta water. Covered and warmed until the marscapone melts and makes everything creamy. Delicious!

This was delicious. Don't know why anyone would say it's bland. Don't over cook your asparagus. Timing is a bit tricky if preparing a meal alone (at least it is for me. I didn't think it needed a full pound of pasta so I adjusted accordingly. Forgot to add pasta water and had drained it all off so used some milk instead. Probably not a cup. Definitely a keeper recipe. Had with grilled pork chops and honey glazed carrots.

I always love Giadas recipes but this one was dull and boring. No great flavor, maybe it was the type of mushrooms I used I'm not sure.

Made this last night- no meat Fridays during Lent- and WOW fantastic! I have made several of Giada's recipes- another winner.

Thank you for a "vegetarian" recipe that is unique and so delicious! This recipe will definitely go into the regular rotation at my house. It's quick and easy and I can't say enough good things about it. Many excited expletives were uttered in this household upon sampling the first bite.

Excellent, but you need to add some oomph to it, lol. Here is what I did differently: First I added Sauteed onions and garlic with one parts butter and one part EVOO with the mushrooms. Instead of cooking water being used to moisten the sauce I used cream and white wine. Right before I added the salt and pepper I added a bit of creamy goat cheese. I also used sliced almonds instead of walnuts because that's what I had. Finally at the very end I added a splash of lemon juice and parsley.

I know it seams like many changes, however if it were not for Giada's inspiration I would not have been able to take a delicious recipe and add my own touches to it. I recommend adding your favorite ingredients in this as well! Have fun with it! :

Delicious! What makes Italian food so wonderful is its simplicity. You should be able to taste every part of the dish. Use really fresh, quality ingredients and this dish is wonderful.
