This soup was okay. My soup came out too salty. I used Earth Balance instead of unsalted butter and I guess I need to be told exactly how much salt to add when following recipes.

This soup was QUICK, EASY, and DELICIOUS. I followed the recipe exactly and I would not make any changes. Made it today, in the middle of a Nor' Eastern and what a perfect comfort dish. Everyone loves it.

This soup was amazing I love it.The ownly change I made was to put 1 tablespoon of maple syrop instead of 3 TBSP was scared it would be too sweet since sweet potatoes are sweet. This is a keeper recipe for sure.

This is one of the most delicious soups I have ever eaten. I recommend reducing the broth by 1/2 cup and adding an extra sweet potato if you want a thicker soup. It was perfect in small champagne shooters as an appetizer for a party I hosted.

I made the recipe just as written and it was awesome. We didn't find it too sweet at all. My husband and I loved it (and paired it with the Ham, Gruyere and Apple Panini's which was also wonderful! I used dried rosemary since I couldn't find any fresh at the store, which meant I had to run the soup through a fine sieve to get the rosemary leaves out (the texture of it in the soup wasn't pleasant so definitely use the sprigs to make it easier! Definitely a keeper.

Wonderful creamy texture but way too sweet with the maple syrup for my taste.

Really loved this soup...so quick and easy. I do agree with an earlier review though that it is a touch too sweet. Next time I will reduce the maple syrup by half and I think it will be perfect..(at least for my taste. Definitely a keeper!

Delicious, hearty, fresh soup. Great thickness & texture - I love homemade soups. My husband & I enjoyed this & I will definitely make it again. I actually pulled the rosemary leaves off 3 stems & sprinkled them into the pot with the stock & potatoes. I blitzed everything with the immersion blender at the end - the rosemary taste was still very subtle. Yum!
