I made this for lunch after church when we are all starving. It was super quick & easy, not to mention delicious. One of my daughters doesn't eat meat so I just left off the salami. I also would like to try it without the smoked gouda, just regular. I'm definately going to make this again!

I love Giada's recipes. This one is an excellent take on the child version of the grilled cheese sandwich. I love grilled cheese, so this one is a keeper for me!!!!!

I now use a croissant instead of Italian bread on the paninis I serve in my restaurant and patrons love the change. The panini is better served on a croissant.

It was quick to make; however, the sandwich tasted ok. I don't think I would make it again.

I made this tonight. Super easy to make. I tweaked this receipe a little more to my liking. I used grilled chicken and a couple of slices of ham, instead of arugula I used fresh basil leaves. I cooked it in a frying pan and came out wonderfully... I think a croissant would have been too flaky to cook otherwise. Really delicious!
