Incredibly easy! Follow the recipe, and it will turn out just like Giada's, there are no tricks to this. My Italian father LOVES this, and although it is typically for the morning, he will have it any time of the day, all day! Thank you Giada!

DELICIOUS!!!!! We toasted the almonds before putting them on top and it turned out great. It would be fabulous with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top! We will definitely make this again.

I can't wait to serve this on a special occasion.

By the way, to -anonymous- who wrote the 38th rating/comment, there isn't a typographical error with 1 1/2 cups. Anything more than 1 is plural.

this is easy, delicious and turns out perfect every time. at first i thought the amount of jam was too much so i tried using less. i was mistaken. when baked, the lesser amount was bubbled up to a too thin layer. use the whole amount. i don;t measure when rolling out the dough, so my round may be bigger. also, when i fold up the pastry dough it cover more into the middle than is shown here. a smaller amount with the jam shows. i use what ever jam i have. last time was a mixture of blueberry and strawberry that was delicious!

It is the same as the raspberry crostata recipe. There was probably an error in typing - it should be 1 1/2 c flour.

This is simple to make and flavorful. The nuts add a nice crunch and the addition of the lemon juice to the raspberry preserves brightens the flavor.

This is not hard at all, I saw it on the brunch special. I followed her instructions carefully especially with the ice water (go slow when adding and it came out great!

I was having my first gathering where I was doing ALL the cooking for the event. I decided to start with a brunch as it was my first time hosting something at my place. My mother sent this recipe to me as well as a few others to try. The first time I made it I was surprised how easy it was make even for a beginner like me. I did feel the amount of preserves was a bit overwhelming so when I made it again for the actual event I put a little less than the recipe called for. It was a big hit. It is a very pretty dish and I felt like a pro. I absolutely love the taste of the dough. I can see where it can be used for something else.

I have made this many times and every time it turns out perfectly! Easy to make and looks like something you'd buy in a bakery. Very impressive to serve guests. I will continue to make it over and over! Positively scrumptious!

It was so easy and delicious. There is no special bake ware needed. It was so delicious that on my frist try I was told I should consider opening a bakery!
