I was pleasantly surprised at just how delicious (and easy!these were; I had to make extra as everyone had at least 3! I ran out of sage leaves and substituted with the ground, dried sage one can buy in a grocery store (just kept adding a little at a time to the melted butter until it tasted right. Just fabulous and I can't wait to make it for friends, too!

The ingredients are so simple but the outcome is incredible! I made these for dinner for my husband and he is already asking when we can have them again. I think this recipe is great for two or for a large group. So easy and delicious!

These FLEW off the platter at our New Years Eve Party! They were sooo delicous! I put the Sage Butter in a pretty side bowl with a small spoon so that the crostinis did not get soggy... but it wasnt even necessary bc they were the first things gone! Sag butter is my new fave too! YUMMY ALL AROUND!

Sage butter...wonderful! My family was blown away. I have made this recipe a few times and each time I get compliments. I am fortunate to grow fresh sage in my yard so it is so fresh!!!! ENJOY! Thank you Giada.

there really isn't much not to like about this recipe - it's melted cheese and butter on top of prosciutto and toasted bread. amazing, obviously. the only thing i would say is to make sure to cut the cheese on the thinner side (i did that the second time i made these, and it really melted a lot better, and not to make the full recipe if there are only a couple of you. these crostini are very, very filling, and it's hard to really want to eat anything else when you have them, so if you serve these as an appetizer, i would say that you shouldn't plan on any more than two per person if you want people to eat all the other stuff you made!

Made these for a Labor Day weekend gathering--nothing left on the plate! Good thing I tried one in the kitchen before serving them. I took the advice of another reviewer and put some of the sage butter on the toast. Very tasty. I made a large batch of the sage butter--have sage in my herb garden--and froze in small portions. Nice recipe.

are you even serouis? this was the best cheese bread i have ever had! the sage butter is out of this world. i have looked up atleast 50 recipes that have sage in them, i think Giada made me love sage. Very simple to make, only suggestion would be to make sure you serve them right away or hold off on pouring the sage butter over the bread until ready to eat. the last couple we had were soggy but they had sat for a bit while we ate.
