    Needs a few modifications

I thought the chicken had great flavor-maybe a little bland. The strips were not really crispy and tended to stick to the pan. Next time I'll add a little spice and turn them to get a more even crispiness.

    Great, easy recipe!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
I have to say, I thought this recipe was a great success. Instead of using regular breadcrumbs, I used italian seasoned panko crumbs. I haven't tried it the other way, but using the panko made it cruncy and delicious! Also, I would definitely suggest flipping the chicken halfway through to ensure they are crispy on both sides. Make sure you grease the pan well enough as the panko crumbs don't stick as well as normal bread crumbs! Tender and juicy, the chicken turned out wonderful and the dipping sauce was a great addition!!

    Need more time

Rated: 2 stars out of 5
This recipe turns out decent Chicken Tenders, but the cooking time needs to be doubled and rotated 3/4 through. Back to the books on this one Giada. A little cayenne decreases the blandness, but thats just me.

    Almost burnt my house down!!

Rated: 3 stars out of 5
The temperature is way to high! Are we baking bread in there too? The breadcrumbs burned and made horrible smoke, as well as set off all my alarms. It ruined my potholders and cooking trays. After pealing off all the burnt breadcrumbs, the chicken was tender and moist. However the flavor was ok and not worth the trouble.

edible, but I won't make it again

Rated: 3 stars out of 5
This recipe is very bland, and adding a bit of basil would probably make it much better. I plan on combining it with another recipe (which involves pounding chicken breasts) and seeing if it makes it tasty and easy! My family's vote was, 'it was ok'...

    A Hit with Everyone!!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
I tried this recipe the first time verbatim and it was a hit. The next time I tried with Panko breadcrumbs and it was a bigger hit. My husband isn't a big fan of chicken and usually only likes fried, but he loves it! My son-in-law told my daughter it was better then any fried chicken she has ever made him. Everybody asks for the recipe and it is so quick and easy to make. The Panko breadcrumbs give it a wonderful crunch. i also flip the tenders after about 9 minutes to give them a better crust.

    also works with halibut steaks

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
This recipe is also good with thin (1/2) inch halibut steaks. I used tartar sauce instead of the dipping sauce with the fish. For all of those who said it was soggy, just leave it in a little longer

This is a terrific recipe. One time I didn't have buttermilk and used milk instead. The chicken was still tender and enjoyed by all. Thanks Giada!

Great recipe, I sprayed the tenders with oil cooking spray instead of drizzling with olive oil. Fantastic taste, nice and tender. Heathly too.

    So unbelievable! New family fave!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
Giada is such a lifesaver! These are delicious, easy, kid-friendly and definitely good enough for guests. I was hesitant about the balsamic sauce (and even warmed up marinara as a backup) but it really made the chicken sing! Thank you Giada for another amazing recipe. You have really done something amazing to the mundane chicken!

    So So

Rated: 3 stars out of 5
First, no-way is 12 minutes enough time to get chicken cooked...let alone crispy...even at 500 degrees. As someone else commented, it took twice the recommended cooking time to get done. Then tops were dry, but not crispy and the bottom was extremely soggy. If I try this again it will be for longer cooking time and tenders will be on a rack to facilitate crispiness.

    HUGE HIT

Everyone in my family loved these, including my one yr old. I had never heard of using the buttermilk to tenderize. I will do that more often! It made the chicken incredibly tender. SOOOOOO YUMMY!

    Loved the chicken strips

Rated: 4 stars out of 5
Yummy! The dip didn't work for me, in fact, I didn't even take it to the table. Instead I served with a mix of horseradish mustard and honey, ranch dressing, and Spicy Garlic hot sauce (Buffalo Wild Wings). My husband told me 3 times he liked them. We try to be very conscious of avoiding fried foods so we really appreciated that these were baked and oh so yummy! We'll definitely make it again. I only gave it 4 stars because the vinaigrette was terribly oily and not my thing! Thanks Giada!
