This is such a great meal. Might recommend it as side to a simple chicken, because it is pretty rich. Also, it gets creamier if you let it sit (off the heat for a few minutes after it is finished.

Absolutely wonderful- rich and flavorful, very satisfying meal. My husband and 3 year old daughters all love this dish. Makes a great meal with a green salad. However, make sure not to make too much because leftovers will not reheat well (like any risotto- sticky, thick consistency. Giada delivers again!

I have made this recipe about six times and have had great reviews. My 87 year old father-in-law to our six year old god-child love the flavors and taste of this wonderful risotto dish. Thank you very much Giada.

This risotto was absolutely fabulous!! Since this was the first time I have tried a recipe from Giada and the first time I made risotto I wasn't sure what to expect, what a nice surprise. This was easy and probably one of the best tasting dished I have ever made. I now understand what other users wrote about the "layers of flavor".

I love rice in all its variants, but I never tried to cook risotto because I thought it was too complicated. Thank you for offering a recipe so simple and delicious.

this recipe was delicious. I followed it to the T... but i added more sausage to ,make it more of a meal, Mt husband who is a chef, indicated that the risotto should be a little creamier, so after i finished, we added another 1/2 cup of broth... it came out nicely, would do it again,,, without adding more than a pinch of salt, the broth is salty enough, and the bacon and sausage is salty too,,, yummmy dish tho,,, yum yum yum,

This is the best risotto recipe I have made at home. I had to tell my husband to save some for the kids.
