I really enjoyed drying the lemon slices. I also dried sliced oranges. It is very very sweet though. So, definitely need to pour it over a pitcher full of ice to let it water down a bit before drinking.

Note: The following Cook's Note has been added on how to dry lemon slices.
Cook's Note: To dry lemon slices: arrange in a single layer on a wire rack. Place on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated 150 degrees oven for 1 to 1/1/2 hours until dry and crisp. Store in an airtight container at room temperature. Alternatively, the lemon slices can be dried in a dehydrator following the manufacturer's instructions.

might be a little late, but i saw the review asing about raffy and her freezer comment... raffy cuts her lemons on a deli slicer very thinly, dries them in a dehydrator and then puts them into the freezer for storage.

That is good ice tea! Thanks Giada...I replaced the syrup with tru via I'm watching my sugar intake. What did Raffy say she put in the freezer, the tea bags or lemons?
