This Easter pie takes me back to my youth...Easter at my grandmother's and Easter back home in South Philly.
Thank you Giada for taking me back home.

Simple and flavorful. Reminiscent of my time in Italy during the holiday.

This was my first time working with phyllo dough, so it was a learning experience. I didn't quite know how these ingredients would make a tasty pie, but they married beautifully. The taste is very mild, and the rice and nuts give it lots of texture. I served this for my extended, and even my 10 month old nephew loved it!

This was easy and absolutely delicious -- the perfect consistency. Also, I have been trying to find a recipe for ricotta pie that did not have a soggy crust and this fit the bill.

This recipe is awesome. I am an Italian American and this recipe is so much easier than what I usually make and all the taste is there. Next time I may add some citron to the filling.
It puts me in mind of sfogliatella. Another winner from Giada!

This is an incredibly light, buttery, wonderful pie similar to what my mom use to make at Easter, only I think I will use this recipe from now on.

This recipe wouldn't be bad if maybe you didn't put as much egg in it.
