I made these to take to a Christmas gathering - girls were stuffing them into their purses!!! These are an awesome combination of coffee and chocolate - the first to go at pot lucks and parties!

Make these brownies for a picnic today and they were a big hit. They are fudge like and and the coffee flavor is wonderful. I admit I made a mistake and used 2 tablespoons instead of teaspoons of coffee powder in the brownies but they were still fabulous. Very strong coffee flavor. So I used less in glaze. Put them in cup cake papers and added a raspberry and they presented beautifully - just like another reviewer had done. Thank you Giada - I am becoming a much better cook using your recipes. I don't even try them out at home first, I just do them and take to a party, Never missed yet.

Thank you Giada! I have made several variations including German Chocolate, Hazelnut Rum and Extreme Chocolate Sauce for the brownies!

I was looking for some different way to make brownies by using the brownie mix. I loved the coffee flavor these brownies had, and the glaze is nice to, but next time I will cut down of the amount of glaze. I did not have espresso so I used my regular coffee powder and it turned out great. Will make these again. Thanks Giada :

I have made these more times than I can count and have been remiss in leaving my comments. These are absolutely incredible. The only problem I have ever had is finding the Duncan Hines brownie mix recommended. The oz. are never the same, so I use Betty Crocker which is exactly the right size. They are still wonderful. Thank Giada.

I would like to know what I did wrong! It is an easy recipe but it turned out hard as a rock! I chucked it all in the trash. Could it be the wrong pan size? It is frankly the first time I mess up when baking.

I decided to make these brownies after reading all the great reviews, and I am so glad I did! They are so tasty and addictive! As per other reviewers' suggestions, I used the mini semi-sweet chocolate morsels and doubled the icing recipe (I love a lot of icing. The icing is what really makes these brownies so unique and rich--no wonder Giada cuts them into small bite-size squares. I have made them twice already and will definitely make them again soon!

These brownies mix two favorites - chocolate and coffee. They are so easy to make and are transportable. They must be made ahead of time which always helps. They stay fresh for several days in the refrigerator. I have made them multiple times and will again.

I make Ghirardelli Triple Chocolate brownies often....with that said, I decided to add Giada's twist on store bought brownie mix. Oh my, were they outstanding!! My husband usually prefers a brownie sundae but these are his new favorite & mine too. I love the Ghirardelli Triple choc mix because it already has the semi-sweet, milk & bittersweet chips in the mix- which makes it a super rich brownie. By adding instant espresso makes it so decadent. Thanks Giada!
