I threw this away. Even with the butter cut back to one stick, it was sickeningly sweet and greasy. Very disappointed with this recipe.

Just watched Giada make these and I believe that on the show she added only one stick of butter to the graham cracker crust.

These were soooo yummmyyy. The only problem I had was the guilt of using all that butter and sugar :(
I'm going to cut down on the butter next time because it was TOO MUCH and unnecessary. Also, if you leave the thing in the fridge OVERNIGHT, it helps with keeping it looking clean when cutting it.

Absolutely amazing! I made this with Agave, as opposed to refined sugar, so I had to add a few more graham crackers to ensure that the crust wasn't too gooey. I also used dark chocolate chips, as I knew this would be a sweet treat, and the dark chocolate provided a contrast to the sweetness of the caramel. Using low fat graham crackers and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter had no impact on its taste.

I've made these twice now and always get rave reviews. The first time, I used instant coffee instead of espresso powder and they were fine. However, I don't love coffee and rather than add dimension to the chocolate, I could really taste it. This time, I used 1/2 tsp instant coffee and it was much better. Added dimension without as strong a coffee flavor as previously. These are great and freeze well too!

Great recipe! I did change it a bit though, I didn't add the espresso because I don't like coffee, so I put in a splash of vanilla to the chocolate. My family loved it!

I made these while visiting my son at college this summer, the kids LOVED them!! Since we were in dorm life, there was no candy thermometer to be had, I used the old fashioned method...testing the caramel until it reached the medium ball stage...it was perfect! I've made them 4 times since and everyone that tastes them wants the recipe. I use regular graham crackers and sea salt. They are rich, but they are awesome! Thanks Giada!

Delicious, and very rich. You can only eat a little bit, but it's worth it. I found the recipe easy and not really that messy. This one is going into my Christmas cooking box. I followed the recipe exactly and it came out great.

Thees are divine!!! Kids love it. Not sure what previous reviewers are talking about "caramel oozing out" and "too much butter in crust". I followed the recipe and came out perfect. My only change was did not use the Smoked Salt but regular Sea Salt. I think the salt is most definitely needed to bring out the sweetness of the caramel. What a combo! These are also very rich, so a small piece goes along way. Enjoy!
