I have always been grossed out by anchovies, but I thought I would try it for this recipe since they are chopped fine. AMAZING! I also like how the broccoli and farfalle "trap" the flavors. This recipe is awesome at any temperature.

Very delicious and easy to make. I left out the anchovies too and added extra red pepper flakes. So good.

This is my quick and easy meal of choice...I leave out the anchovies, go extra generous with the red pepper flakes, and toss with baby tomatoes (I cook them in a skillet with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Lots of positive feedback on it!

I made this with what I had on hand. I had tri colored pasta instead of farfelle and the recipe still turned out great! My husband even ate it and he doesn't usually eat brocolli. I will be making this again.

I made this simple meal at my parent's house, and everyone loved it. We had plenty of leftovers and when my picky aunt came over the next day, she tried and wanted the recipe! I too added sauteed chicken breasts, but also tossed in some fresh herbs at the end, parsley and basil. Wonderful!

This dish is a bi-monthly favorite at my house. When I was visiting friends out of state, I decided to make dinner for them one night and this was my go to dish. We had to sneak in the anchovies because her hubby "doesn't eat smelly food" but he gobbled up 2 bowls of this yum-o-rific pasta and was none the wiser! I do add more red pepper flakes and garlic for my own taste, but the oil and butter is the perfect amount, you should try it as listed before you double any of the ingredients (ps you cannot omit the pasta water, that's what makes the sauce

I too omitted the anchovy's (I'm allergic, but I added in two grilled chicken breasts (sliced and 2 cups of large grilled shrimp. This recipe makes A LOT! If only making for two, only use 1/2 pound of the farfalle. This recipe is AWESOMe!! The flavorful sauce that it creates all on its own is great!

Was a good recipe. Didn't put the anchoives or the garlic cloves in it and one other thing but was still a good recipe. This will be a good dish to serve for a time when you're having people come over for dinner.

This recipe is so quick and easy and yet it is loaded with taste. I used extra anchovies for an extra kick. I've also substituted chicken in place of anchovies and a number of different Italian cheeses in place of Parmesan. Regardless of the improvisation it is wonderful every time. Great recipe for beginners. Nearly no prep time and virtually impossible to mess up.

just like the others said, it's flavorful, easy and yum. i used whole wheat pasta annd was a little worried about the anchovies, but they added great depth to the dish and my boyfriend didn't even notice them! i was worried he'd be scared of them. .. but they were great
