the recipe looked great, but i don't like brocolli, so i subsituted freshasparagus tips. It was delicious! you can't even taste the anchovies, but they add a nice flavor. don't omit them. My only comment, is that it was better warm than at room temperature. i would definitely make it again, and again....

My whole family loved this pasta! We had it as a side dish with grilled chicken.and it was a hit! However, I did change out the anchovies for crisp chopped bacon (I've tried to hide anchovies in recipes before with no luck. The bacon was a great substitute, adding a great smokey flavor. Will definitely add to my recipe box to make again and again!

This recipe is very good. It's basically sauceless, but has a ton of flavor. I minced 2 cloves of garlic instead of 3 and used 1T of anchovy paste in place of anchovies. Definately a keeper. So good with a ton of parm on top. Very, very tasty. The anchovy gives it a nutty flavor.

For Memorial Day, my sister and I decided to make this dish along with the watermelon and cantoloupe. This dish was outstanding!! I had never tried anchovies before so I was skeptical at first, but I love them now! I can't wait to make this dish again!!

I took this dish to a small group gathering and received many compliments on this easy pasta yet tasty dish. And, you know when it is good when you get asked "how is this made"?

I haven't made this in a long time, but it was really easy and very flavorful - the red pepper flakes and anchovies made the dish!
