YUM! I made this a few weeks ago and am craving it again, so will make this weekend. Used chicken sausage vs. regular chicken and it was delicious.

Was so excited to make this after seeing it on TV the other day. Unfortunately, it's not my favorite, sorry, Giada! Even though I used reduced sodium broth and cut back on the salt amounts in the recipe, mine came out very salty and the flavor just wasn't there. :(:(
After reading the reviews that talked about grittiness I was sure to pour the mushroom broth very carefully. I also rinsed the swiss chard in a bowl of water as it did have some grit on it as well. Don't think I'll be making this again.

Great flavor. I wish I had seen the review posted on 4/9 because I too experienced a gritty texture from the mushrooms. I hope someone will answer how to avoid that. I wouldn't like to serve to company with the gritty stuff. Otherwise, this is a great recipe. The mushrooms are very flavorful. My first time using porcini mushrooms.

Ummm...I've not worked with dried mushrooms before...guess I missed the fact that the cooking liquid should be filtered with a coffee filter?? My pasta was gritty...but I ate it anyway...that's how GOOD this dish is!

This was simple and packed with mushroom flavor! I will double the swiss chard next time but it was a huge hit. I can't wait to make it again.

This was excellent! Made it last night for my husband and some friends. 4 of us almost finished off the entire thing. It was pretty easy and a nice change of the usual pasta recipes. Would definitely make again. I did cut back on the salt a bit because it seemed like a lot, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly.

this recipe is dynamite, and very easy, even for the inexperienced chef. I used left over chicken. I also doubled the amount of chicken, mascarpone, and chard; doubling the porcini can get pricey, but you could also saute some crimini to boost the mushroom taste if desired.
if you really want to have fun, make your own farfalle, time consuming but worth the effort.

I've made this twice. I substituted the swiss chard with spinach. The family loved it. Its even better the next day!
