Should have read the reviews first! I agree with the too much lemon for my taste...adding flavor is one thing but overpowering is a different thing. Also a little too thin for my liking. Tried adding more cheese but didnt seem to help much.

Too much lemon in this Alfredo Sauce recipe, maybe it was just my taste but all my friends hated it. Cut the lemon in half and maybe it will taste normal

This is really delicious recipe. I did not use all the butter as well. But I love the lemon flavor. It's definitely a keeper!

I must say this dish is very very very rich. i enjoyed it! I am not very fond of butter, so i used half the amount called. they say the butter floats to the top, and it does until the sauce is formed from the heavy cream and butter. once you add the butter constantly stir and the sauce will form. thirdly go easy on the lemon, or serve on the side. Some of my guest were not enjoying the random taste of lemon.

Turned out wonderfully. I used 1/4 cup lemon juice which was perfect. I also added a cup of white cheddar shredded cheese and cut the parm cheese in half.

I agree with many other raters that this recipe has way too much butter. I've made it twice now, and the second time I cut the butter by a half and it was still floating around on my plate when I finished eating it. Even with less butter, the taste is still great, but I think is too greasy for me. I may try again with almost no butter.

Delicious!!! I cut the lemon by half, using 1 1/2 lemon plus the zest of one lemon. Added grilled chicken on top and it was great!

Made this for lunch today paired with a low glucose noodle. carbs for spaghetti noodles was 5. It was so delicious. Will make again when craving the alfredo type of sauce . the noodles did not taste any different than the usual but were 3 times the cost...well worth it to watch the intake of carbs if you are a diabetic.
