It was very rich and way too much food for a single person. It was not good leftover. I did like the flavor although it had much too butter for my taste!

I've been looking for a simple way to make this at home and I've found it. The sauces from a jar are just awful. It has such a fresh, natural taste. The lemon really gives it that extra bite. Thank you for sharing this recipe with us!

The sauce had a bit too much of a lemon taste, but it was good. it doesn't taste good for left overs. it also tastes good with something else like mushrooms or onions, garlic. something to take away the richness.

I made the recipe just as is and it was shocking with all the lemon -- too much when you are expecting classic alfredo. HOWEVER, one of my favorite dishes is lemon chicken that is an exact match to this dish if you add some pieces of cooked chicken in the last stage of the sauce. It is a fabulous adjustment -- call it lemon chicken alfredo and it's to die for!

I wasn't sure about the lemon in this dish, so I did the zest and juice of one small lemon only... Probably about half what the recipe calls for. It turned out beautifully! The lemon added a freshness to the sauce that made it seem less heavy than traditional alfredo. The addition of nutmeg was nice, as well. From start to finish, this dish only took me about 25 minutes to prepare. This one is definitely a keeper!

pretty good, only criticism is that it was too heavy...other than that, I would definitely make it again.

THIS RECIPE WAS QUICK AND EASY BUT VERY RICH AND HEAVY. I FELT LIKE I HAD A BRICK IN MY STOMACH AFTER TAKING A BITE. NOBODY LIKED IT TO MUCH BECAUSE OF THE LEMON TASTE WAS TO OVER POWERING. I WILL NOT MAKE THIS RECIPE AGAIN IT IS DEFINITELY NOT FIVE STARS!
