    I followed the recipe exactly but used linguine instead of Fettucini as I didn't have any in the house. it's a bit lemony but it came out delish....I topped it with more parm cheese and added bacon....yummy!!!!!!

    I love how easy it is to make. It's delicious, but I missed a little flavor, though. Maybe some white wine instead of the lemon?

    unlike most of the reviews i've read, most of my family liked the lemon, though the first time i made it, the sauce turned out a bit grainy. the next time, we added half of the parmesan before putting the pasta in the sauce and added the second half after. this helped a bit :

    This is a fantastic recipe! So easy to make with great flavours! I used 1/2 the lemon juice the recipe called for and it was perfect. I usually make my own pasta, and it cooked up perfectly. Every year my family picks a theme for Christmas Dinner. In 2009 it was seafood, so I made this dish and added king crab meat. It was absolutely gorgeous! Everyone raved about it. I've made it a few times since then, adding chicken or simply serving it as a side dish. It's always a favourite!

    Very cheesy which is not really how I like my alfredo. But it was so easy to make I had to give it 5 stars. I will add some grilled chicken or shrimp next time and less cheese. Didn't add the lemon and it was still great.

    OMG this was fabulous!! I took advice from the others and didn't use any lemon, for a change up alittle lemon would probably be good. Maybe the juice of one lemon. This was classic alfredo. I grilled some chicken, sliced it and put on top. I also added an extra 1/2 cup heavy cream, we like extra sauce. Plus I added about 1/2 cup finely shredded mozzerella cheese. It was really good!!

    MMMMMMMMMMM! Its a good as you get in a resturant and so easy. However, WAY too much LEMON. I use a splash now and it comes out perfect! I use black pepper and boxed fettuccine too, because i always have it in the house and makes it so much easier. I gave it 5 stars but the one down fall is the lemon.

    LUV this! It is delish...U really have to use fresh fettuccine to get fabulous results! Don't skimp on any steps...Yum!

    TOO Lemony! The creaminess is nice but the lemon flavor is not what I want in a creamy alfredo, cut back or cut it out even for a creamy alfredo sauce, otherwise very good, I added chicken and served with fresh steamed/sauteed green beans!
