This was very simple to make. I did take the advice of the others and cut the lemon back to 1/4 cup. The only other change I made was to add some shrimp.

EXCELLENT!!! Alfredo sauces are always too thick for me, but this one is nice and light and the lemon is so nice with the parmesan. I used a homemade black pepper linguine, and it worked wonderfully. Thanks - as my husband says "This is a keeper!!"

omg I loved this recipe! It was ridiculously easy and the flavor was out of this world! I went against advice and used all of the lemon- and not a regret!!! The lemon added a level of dimension that really added depth to the sauce.

i only used the stated juice of one lemon and no zest and it was not too lemony as other reviews. i also used 2T of cream cheese instead of butter. great recipe will do again and again.

The lemon gave this some nice bite but WAY too strong! Next time I make this I will cit lemon and zest in half. I did not have enough cream on hand and substituted cream cheese for half a cup of cream...loved it...just need to get that lemon under control! It has potential to be an awesome Alfredo!

It takes longer to go to the store and buy a jar of (gross pre-made Alfredo sauce than it does to make this delicious and easy recipe. Great for beginners or people who are busy (like me but love good, fresh, fast food.

Unfortunately I did not read the reviews first and made it as the recipe stated. Way, way too much lemon, but will try it without next time as I believe it would have been great without it.

This was awesome, and so easy to make! I love Alfredo sauce but we don't go out much. We had leftovers from the other night, my daughter had some as a snack after school today! Even leftover and reheated (in the microwave it was still yummy! Thanks Giada, we knew when we saw your name attached to this recipe it was the one we would try first... now there is no need to try another Alfredo recipe!
