I made this tonight, it was wonderful. I only had 2 cups of cream and 1 stick of butter, but it worked very well. It was surprisingly light with a well rounded flavor. Thanks Giada for another spectacular recipe.

I used a whole lemon which is roughly about 1/2c
***DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE BOTTLED LEMON JUICE***
Recipes are to taste add as much lemon that your taste can handle. It really is a YUMMY alfredo

This pasta dish was terrible. I made it exactly like the directions said. However, the lemon does NOT work with the recipe. It makes the pasta taste sour. Unfortunately I had to throw it out.

I followed the recipe exactly and the lemon flavor was so overpowering we threw it out :( I will definitely be looking for a new alfredo recipe which is surprising because I usually love Giada's recipes.

I'm giving this recipe 3 stars only because it was really, really heavy (and we like heavy food. Additionally, it was just a bit too much lemon for us (and we like lemon. A good one for the kids, but I'll look for a recipe that is a little lighter.

I thought the lemon was WONDERFUL in this. I added kalamata olives, grilled chicken and sliced fresh portabellas, topped with basic and garlic diced tomatoes, TOTAL HIT!
