The Red Wine Sauce was excellent; my boyfriend and I were looking for things to dip in it...bread, potatoes, salad. It was delicious and easy to make. I want to make it for my friends and family; they would be very impressed!

This was an excellent recipe. Definitely delish! I am unable to find the same cuts of beef here in Holland as we have in the U.S. So I must substitute alot. This time I chose nice thick ribeyes. I first marinaded the steaks with salt, pepper, garlic powder and a bit of olive oil. I let them set about 20minutes before grilling. Meanwhile I made the sauce. The sauce is fantastic! It was easy and the flavors were awesome. This is definitely a 'keeper' recipe. A good recipe for guest. Thank you Giada for another lovely recipe.

This dish is delicious and so simple! The sauce is very flavorful and restaurant- quality and requires only a few ingredients. My boyfriend went back for seconds. Thanks again, Giada!!

I was unable to find flat iron steaks, so I used top sirloin. It was wonderful, tender, and the sauce was rich and thick. Very easy to make, and makes you look like you spent hours making it. Another great recipe, thank you

The sauce was awsome! I used fresh oregano from my garden and it was wonderdul. I used some ribeyes that I had in the fridge and it worked quite well, I want to try it next time with the flat iron steaks. Thanks Giada!

The red wine sauce is absolutely fabulous! Since I had already bought ribeye steaks I decided to use those instead of the flat iron steaks. What a hit. It added a wonderful flavor and elegance to my meal. We used Cabernet Sauvignon as our wine choice for the recipe. Delicious! The steak would also be wonderful with a pat of herbed butter and a grilled mushroom cap to accompany the wine sauce.
