    When I made this I found it to over power the meat to much. You can barely taste the steak. Its like your eating the sauce alone. My husband liked it though. I guess it depends on your taste.

    I made this dish for my husband & 24 year old son who is trying to teach his girlfriend how to make new dishes. He was bowled over. I am sure his girl will be taught how to make this!!! Both my men loved it as did I.

    I made this one night and my 14 year old
    son keeps asking "When are you going to make that steak with the red sauce again".
    At my local HEB supermarket they will cut flat iron steaks for me but I found that they can be found in the meat case labled
    "Mock Tenderloin".
