UNBELIEVABLE - OH SO DELICIOUS!!!!! I will be making this very often for sure. I too used orzo could not find Fregola but I'm thinking any pasta would be good in here.
It "was" time consuming peeling the Cipollini onions, I agree but they are so, so sweet and yummy - it was worth it! I do not agree with one of the reviews about the Cannellini beans not belonging in there - THEY WERE CREAMY - DELICIOUS and gave the dish a good balance. The dressing was PERFECT - not too sweet as someone said - with all that lemon juice, the honey balanced out the flavor completely - would love to use that dressing on a Spinach salad! THANK YOU GIADA - I JUST LOVE YOU!

Excellent! This recipe made a lot!! I used Orzo because Fregola wasn't available. Everyone agreed that the beans gave it an odd texture, so next time I will eliminate the beans. Next time I am also going to try using sweet onions as the cipollini onions were time consuming to peel and were very expensive! It was tasty so I will definately make it again. The salad was a nice compliment to the pork chop recipe from the same episode.

Fantastic! Used Acini Di Pepe pasta because I couldnt find the Fregola. Also used half the honey. Ate a huge bowl of it w extra parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Great comfort food!

This was not only quick to prepare but very filling and satisfying. I picked up Sardinian fregula, (aka fregola, from the Italian Market in Philly and it has a great bite to it, kinda like al dente. I think I might just buy cipollini frozen then defrost the next time; my hands are to big to be fooling with peeling those little onions! Ha! Great dish Giada!

This was a simply fantastic recipe!!! Used Israeli Couscous instead of Fregola due to cost, and it was still perfect. I highly recommend this recipe to others! Tons of flavor. Made me appreciate cannelini beans again. Will make it again and again! Thanks Giada!

This recipe was so good it inspired me to write my first review. I made it with orzo, and used a little less honey than recommended, but otherwise followed the recipe. My husband and I both loved it, and we had a ton leftover. Unless you have a real sweet tooth, I recommend using a shade less than 2T honey - that's what I did and it had a perfect hint of sweetness. Fabulous recipe!

absolutely delish! I used shallots instead of cipollini onions and cous cous. My husband loved it and he's not even a big fan of beans and brocoli! A recipe I will make again and again!

I looooved this recipe! Made it last night, used a different, but very similar pasta and it turned out fabulous. We also added fresh, chopped tomotoes to the broccoli and onion mixture and I think it may have made the original even better! The dressing with the lemon and olive oil absolutely made the dish and would not be the same with out it. I highly recommend this dish and cant wait to eat the leftovers! By the way, we made it for two people and had about 3/4 left, made a ton of pasta.

I really wanted to like this. I made it exactly as written, including the fregoli - which is pricey at $10 a bag. It's a beautiful dish but found the taste to be a bit off. My entire family tried it. Although it's not terrible, I just didn't find the flavor to be that great, which was pretty much the consensus. I made sure to check and recheck every step to make sure I did it correctly....with my mom visiting along for support. So I know I did everything right. If I had to change annoying, I'd cook the fregoli longer (could not appreciate the crunch I'd add less lemon and way more parmesan cheese. Id also probably also switch to orzo over the fregoli to save money.
