I was interested to use Fregola since I have never worked with it before, and a mix of all the refreshing fruit sounded amazing. When I actually made it, the flavors didn't mix well for my taste. However, my friends ate it heartily and loved it. They said that it tasted very healthy and flavorful. Either way, it was very fun and easy to make!

A friend of mine made this and brought it to a cookout. It is outstanding! What a wonderful combination of flavors. It was made with Orzo. I begged her for the recipe and can't wait to make it myself.

I found this salad to be a perfect match to a lobster dinner. All of my friends really enjoyed the fresh summer flavors.

Like others, I could not find fregola pasta and used orzo .. but because Giada had commented on how the fregola was good because it had a 'toasty' taste .. So I put my orzo in a pan with 1 pat of butter and toasted it gently first .. then cooked it in the broth as directed. Also, when using orzo .. you can use a little less oil in the recipe. I made mine for my cousin who is a professional chef .. and he & his family loved it.

I could taste each individual ingredient, yet they all melded together for a fabulous flavor! Very refreshing!

Wondeful! Very refreshing summer salad. I could not find the pasta that Giada used - I used orzo instead. Definately a recipe box keeper!

This was a quick and very flavorful salad that even my picky 5 year old son ate. I used a teaspoon of coarse sea salt and that seemed like a little too much.

The salad is excellent! The flavor is fresh, it is easy to make and different.
I always use dressing with my salads and this one does not needed it.
We could not find the fregola pasta and we used orzo pasta. It is a different salad with an intense citrus flavor.
Do not take my word... make it you will enjoy it!!!
